Gabriel J. Otley
Founder & Managing Director
A graduate from the United States Air Force Academy ‘21, Gabe majored in Business Management. Gabe’s journey started on flightlines filled with A-10 aircraft and executing pararescue missions in Africa. However, shortly in his military career, Gabe’s passion for real estate would ignite. After moving into a program manager role as an Acquisition Officer, Gabe bought his second home, and this time in the Boston Subarbs. After losing countless offers to large corperations renting out these houses, Gabe realized it was time for the average American to stick it back to the “big guys.” The new mission became clear: give the housing market back to the average American home buyer.
John David Lutrell

A graduate from Mississippi State ‘23, John majored in Civil Engineering. John wasted no time starting his own construction company, with Forward Construction Group. Three years later, Forward Construction Group has operated across mutiple states completing projects from homes to large-scale commercial work. At John’s helm, the company has built a reputation for their quality work and impeccable schedule adherance. The core values of “excellence in all that we do” are foundational to John’s work, but also life. He brings a vast wealth of experience to the team at the Independence Club and believes in the everyday American as the core of the Club and country.
